well, now. not having an internet connection is making this blog a bit less interesting. or more so, depending on what you think of it.
my NEW JOB is going well. i work with little kids and old people. little kids, really little, like 2-4 years old. and i even LIKE them! and now i am working weekends in a nursing home. i kinda like old people, too. i guess i really like all people.
my NEW LOCATION is still good. although i don't know if it is so good that i can walk to so many bars. actually, it is good, since the alternative would be that i drive to them.
my BOYFRIEND is gone! he is working far away for the summer. i thought it would be a good opportunity to buckle down, get some work done and not have to worry about going to nyc all the time. but ten days later, it really just sucks altogether.
i have lately been trying to learn German in my car while i am spending so much time driving around. it really makes me laugh. i am getting pretty good, though. in fact, if this conversation ever comes up, i am all over it:
"Hello."
"Hello."
"How are you?"
"Very well, thanks. How are you?"
"Good. Very good. Thank you."
"Do you speak English?"
"No, I speak no English."
"I speak English."
"Are you American."
"Yes. I am an American."
"Do you speak German?"
"I speak a little German. Only a little."
"You speak German."
"Goodbye."
"Goodbye."
at this rate, i might have time to also learn italian and french this summer. man, i kick ass.
