No matter what happens, I NEVER feel like that. I'm still trying to figure out how they keep Kerry moving around without a wheelchair, having no freaking spine and all. Seriously, it's really easy to play armchair quarterback and say "I could have done that better" but then not give any real details about how you would have done it.

With all due respect, everything Bush has done has been done poorly and with gross incompetence. This is a situation where an exception should be made to allow armchair quarterbacking. A ham sandwich could do a better job running the country. And so could a douchebag.

While I have to disagree with your assessment of the administration's performance (no one has ever fought this type of war before, so you can't really grade the performance until decades later), what I'm critical of is Kerry's inability to say exactly what he'd do differently. The only thing he's said is that he'd involve the UN. Guess what? Bush tried to involve the UN for a year and they kept pushing for appeasement. It worked really well for them in the 1930's, didn't it? Appeasement is rarely the answer when dealing with thugs. Besides, the duty of the President is to the people of the US, not the people of the UN, pure and simple. Bush acted where his predecessor had not and should have.
Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with everything Bush has done. Frankly, I'd like to see him be less appeasing of the left during his second term and also ditch Cheney, who has become too much of a lightning rod, in favor of a worthy successor, like Condoleeza Rice, but that's a different discussion altogether.
